I wish Microsoft would get its act together. The entire system acts as if the end user isn't concerned about bandwidth. With my DSL connection, I am.
I turned off update seeding, have my devices set my network to a metered connection, and disabled as much updating as I could, yet I discovered two computers to still be uploading data to other devices, which brought my connection to a grinding halt. When updates that I can't stop run (usually because I make the mistake of leaving my computer idle for a few minutes), the same issue happens.
Instead of predicting when I'm away can they please do something that appeals to low-bandwidth users?
Sorry for rant, I know this is a humor sub, but I have a strong opinion on this.
