Installing an npm package is kind of like opening Pandoras box, everything is dependant on at least thirty other projects so to install one package you need to download everything including the collected works of Shakespeare, Dickens and Chaucer. Oh and if you use npm on windows it creates a file structure whose path is too long for windows to cope with making it cumbersome at best.
