It has its place, and it played an important role in web application development for a long time. It's an available technology for many use cases, though not all, which I don't believe it ever achieved to be.
Always ventilate your ideas extremly well when using PHP.
Be carefull with inhaling too many of just your private PHP ideas.
PHP keeps running and does NOT have a safety switch for toxic levels.
Do not use without proper expertise; or it will suffocate you slowly without you noticing it until it is too late.
